Toolkit Focuses on Adults Ages 18 to 25

VIRGINIA – The CCA is excited to unveil its newest educational resource geared towards young adults. “Talking About Cannabis (For Young Adults)” is now available online.

Targeted towards college-aged youth ages 18 to 25, the toolkit is designed to provide useful information and resources to help young adults make informed decisions on cannabis use.

“Young adulthood is an important developmental period,” said Jeremy Preiss, Acting Head and Chief Officer of Regulatory, Policy, and External Affairs. “Understanding the laws and facts regarding cannabis is particularly crucial during this time. This toolkit offers valuable information to young adults about cannabis and promotes responsible behavior within their social circles.”

The toolkit covers topics such as:
•    Cannabis laws in Virginia
•    Effects of cannabis on the brain and body
•    Responsible cannabis use
•    Safe and sober driving
•    Travel and mail safety
•    Secure cannabis storage
